Steel wool scouring soap pads combine fine, abrasive steel wool filaments with an embedded cleaning soap or detergent. Designed for heavy-duty cleaning, they effectively cut through burnt-on food, stubborn grease, and baked-on grime on durable, uncoated surfaces like stainless steel sinks, oven racks, or solid cast iron cookware. However, the embedded soap does NOT reduce the extreme abrasiveness of the steel wool. These pads are absolutely unsuitable and highly destructive for non-stick cookware (Teflon, ceramic, etc.), coated pans, anodized aluminum, or any surface with a protective finish. Use will cause deep scratches, gouging, and irreversible coating failure, ruining the cookware.
Steel wire material
